RIX STORM S6R V2 2.5-10x LRF Thermal Scope

The RIX STORM S6R V2 brings higher-resolution thermal imaging to the compact STORM platform, giving hunters greater image detail and a wider field of view without moving to a larger, heavier optic. The 640×512 VOx sensor with a 12 µm pixel pitch and <15 mK thermal sensitivity delivers excellent target definition, while the 2.5× base magnification and 35 mm F/1.0 objective lens provide a wide 12.5° horizontal field of view. A 0.49-inch 1920×1080 AMOLED display with a 50 Hz refresh rate provides a sharp, detailed sight picture.

The integrated laser rangefinder measures distances up to 2,187 yards with ±1 m accuracy and works with the built-in ballistic calculator to provide aiming guidance directly within the display. Five zeroing profiles allow settings to be stored for different rifles or ammunition, while 0.43 MOA zeroing adjustments and a refined reticle design provide finer point-of-impact control. RIX Resolution Enhancement Technology helps preserve image detail when digital magnification is applied, while Picture-in-Picture provides additional magnification around the aiming area without sacrificing the wider field of view.

The S6R V2 features a redesigned mounting system with a raised and extended quick-detach Picatinny mount for improved eye relief and positioning, particularly on bolt-action rifles. The laser rangefinder has also been repositioned to improve bolt clearance. Raised directional controls correspond with the on-screen interface, making common functions easier to operate in darkness or while wearing gloves.

Powered by a replaceable 18650 battery, the S6R V2 provides up to four hours of runtime at 72°F and supports external USB-C power for longer sessions. Additional features include 64 GB of internal storage, onboard photo and video recording, Recoil Activated Video, Wi-Fi and RIX+ app connectivity, multiple thermal palettes and reticle options. With an IP67 water and dust rating and recoil resistance up to 1,000 g / 6,000 Joules, the S6R V2 is built for demanding field conditions.
